Chocolate chip & coffee Mousse

Aha! I sneaked one of Titania's trademark recipes. It's a rich creamy mousse, with chocolate chips on a bourbon biscuit base. It's pure sin.. Titania's favourite combination of coffee & chocolate.
YUmm!

Ingredients:
milk- half litre, 200gms- cream, 3 teaspoons- coffee, 3tbspns- custard powder, 8-10 tbspns sugar, 3 tea spoons- gelatine, 1 bar- dairy milk chocolate, 1 packet bourbon biscuits, 2 tbspns of butter.

1. Crush the biscuits. Rub in the butter. Press in to a bowl or pie dish. Allow to set in the freezer.
2. Take a cup of milk & slowly stir in the custard powder.
3.Boil the remaining milk, add the coffee powder & sugar. Slowly stir in the custard mixture and allow the mixture to thicken on a low flame.
4. Take 3 tablespoons of water in a bowl & sprinkle the gelatin on it. Heat it on a low flame, allowing the gelatin to melt. Add this to the coffee custard.
5. Allow this mixture to cool a little.
6. Whip cream in another bowl till it thickens.
7. Break the bar of chocolate into small chips & add to the cream.
8. Gently mix the cream, chocolate chips & custard together.
9. Pour on to the biscuit base. Allow it to set in the chiller for 2-3 hours.

If Titania finds out that - I sneaked this recipe to you... I am dead! Grin! It will be so totally worth it!
